Zanna had a smile on her face as she did her solo. It went loud and clear as she added a crash from a cymbal. Luke made a twisting noise that sounded like a sheet of paper being ripped into two.

By the time they ended, Nick's forehead was covered in a cold sweat and he was breathing hard and in short breaths. He smiled to the crowd, making them cheer even louder than they already were. Teh blonde host, Celine, smiled widely as they came to join her.

Zanna pulled her sleek black hair back as they came to join Celine. Luke had a frozen smile on his face, obviously flattered by how much attention the band was getting.

"So this was RockDevils, everybody!" Celine said, obviously happy to be in the company of not one, but two males.

The crowd whooped and whistled, roaring.

Celine asked a few questions, mostly directed to Luke and Nick. Finally the interview was over and they departed, Celine close behind them.

"Hey Nick!" she called, smiling, "You have a GF?"

"Uh. Yeah," he said, winking at Monica. "Why?"

Celine looked crushed. "Never mind..."

She fumed and stomped off, breaking a heel in the process. Monica stifled a laugh.

Zanna giggled. Luke sighed. "What love can do." He snickered and jabbed Nick in the ribs.

Nick scowled at Luke.

"I don't have a girlfriend, and I don't plan on having one," he said firmly, and walked towards the exit.

For some reason, Monica felt a pang of disappointment in her stomach. She cleared her mind of that. They had known one another forever. If they dated it would feel way too much like making out with a brother. She focused on another cute guy that walked by and then continued following Nick.

Zanna laughed. "Me niether. Boys are way too complicated."

Monica laughed. They got into the car and Romano turned around, smiling a die-hard smile.

"Who's ready to rock the gig with GREEN DAY AND PARAMORE?!"

Monica's jaw dropped. Paramore? One of her favorite bands in the world? She screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Since when did PARAMORE come in?!" Zanna gaped, her mouth wide open.
Luke was also astonished. "PARAMORE!"

"They called at the last minute asking to join the gig," Romano explained as they sped off. "Of course Green Day agreed. the more fans, the better reputation - and the better gig."

Monica was still excited. Her insides bubbled with anxiousness and nervousness.

"I can't wait!" Zanna said. "Paramore is so awesome."
"Yeah. And at the last second, too!" Luke added.

Monica was even more nervous and flushed when they pulled up to the stadium. It was an indoor stadium, obviously, but Monica almost wished it was outdoor - the wind had picked up, and that was ideal for hard effort and concentration. Hot, stuffy arenas never worked out.

They got out of the car and were immediately crowded around by ten burly guards who led them through the entrance. Fans were being held back by railings and other security members, which wasn't really working out. Someone called out Nick's name, and he turned around, surprised. they had just gotten on track as a group, and he was surprised how someone already knew his name. They walked in and were automatically met by Hayley, the singer from Paramore.

"Hey," she said, smiling, her red hair gorgeous.

Monica was speechless for a moment. "Hey," she said finally.

"So you guys must be that new band?" she said, prompting a conversation. By the time ten minutes had passed, Monica felt like she had known her all her life - they had tons of stuff in common.

Zanna laughed nervously. "Uh, yeah," She finally managed to squeak.
